E-Governance Initiatives
Overview
ZRDC’s E-Governance Initiatives leverage information and communication technologies (ICTs) to improve transparency, efficiency, and accountability in public institutions. These initiatives support Zambia’s digital transformation agenda by modernizing how government services are delivered and managed.
Objectives
The E-Governance program seeks to:
- Enhance transparency in public administration
- Improve access to government services
- Reduce bureaucratic inefficiencies
- Promote citizen participation and accountability
- Strengthen institutional data management systems

E-Public Service Management (e-PSM) – Improving administrative efficiency

Implementation Approach
ZRDC works closely with local authorities, government ministries, academic institutions including the University of Zambia, and ICT professionals.
Projects are piloted, evaluated, and scaled based on performance, usability, and institutional readiness.
