ZRDC Conducted KoboToolbox Refresher Training

The Zambia Research and Development Centre (ZRDC) on March 25th conducted a refresher training in KoboToolbox aimed at strengthening digital data collection skills among participants.

The training, facilitated by Development Studies tutor Mr. Castrol Lisole, focused on enhancing capacity in the use of the open-source platform, which allows users to design surveys, collect data offline, and analyse results in real time.

Participants were taken through practical steps, including how to create KoboToolbox accounts, design questionnaires, and deploy survey tools on mobile devices using applications such as KoboCollect and GIC Collect for field data collection.

The session also covered how to export collected data into Microsoft Excel for cleaning and analysis, improving efficiency and accuracy in research processes.
